Turnkey Properties

Turnkey properties are a type of rental property that real estate investors can buy and rent out to tenants immediately. A third-party company buys the investment property and makes any necessary renovations to make it ready for renting and then puts it up for sale. Sometimes, the company may even put a tenant in place to truly make the rental property “turnkey.” And as a cherry on top, some of these companies offer professional rental property management, making the property a source of passive income for the real estate investor. While all of this sounds perfect for the beginner real estate investor, you should never buy turnkey properties without performing a complete investment property analysis and real estate market analysis as you would any other type of investment property.
