Contemporary Loft in the Heart of Downtown Lawrence. Perfect for a family or 2 couples traveling together that want some privacy. Each side of this unique space consists of a queen size bed, seating area, dining area and a glass block and slate bathroom. Couples can share the full stainless steel kitchen. While we generally book these units separately guests have the option of combining the two suites.

Our property is located on the second floor of the building at 843 Massachusetts St. This building is approximately 150 years old but you would never guess that once you step inside. You will have to climb 26 stairs to access the property. There are also 2 levels once inside.

Nancy and I live 45 minutes east of Lawrence in Leawood Ks. We are always available for our guests, by phone, Airbnb message or in person if needed.

Lawrence Kansas is the home of the university of Kansas and our property is located in the center of our historic downtown. We are within walking distance of everything the downtown has to offer. Our property is a 15 minute walk from the center of campus.

Being a university town Lawrence has an extensive public transportation system with the main bus stop located within 1 block of our property. Uber and Lift along with traditional Taxi services are also plentiful.

Our home apartment 926 Tennessee Street is located in Lawrence, Kansas, and is a great location for those who want to be close to both Allen Fieldhouse and downtown Lawrence. Allen Fieldhouse is the home of the Kansas Jayhawks men's and women's basketball teams and is only a 5-minute drive away. Downtown Lawrence, with its many shops, restaurants, and cultural venues, is just a 2-minute drive from the neighborhood. Additionally, the neighborhood is close to the University of Kansas, which offers a wide range of academic, athletic, and cultural opportunities for residents. Overall, 926 Tennessee Street is a prime location for those who want to be close to the action and enjoy all that Lawrence has to offer.

Getting around the neighborhood is easy and convenient. Guests can either drive or use public transportation. There are several street parking options available around the neighborhood. We have plenty of parking available for you, I recommend parking in the alleyway for more apple access to the main roads, plus you can see your car from the bedroom window, which is always a plus.

For public transportation, Lawrence has a bus system called the "T", which provides regular service throughout the city. The bus stops are located within a short distance from the neighborhood, and it's a good option for guests who want to explore Lawrence without a car.
